  • Shelly is a 31 year veteran health and PE teacher and coach.
  • She is the co-creator of WAIT Training (Why Am I Tempted), an abstinence and relationship public school curriculum.
  • From 2000 – 2005, Shelly worked for the Weld County Health Dept. in Greeley, CO coordinating WAIT Training into 13 high schools and 16 middle schools.
  • As a result of the WAIT program, teen fertility has decreased 25% since 2000.
  • Shelly presents over 50 WAIT Training teacher trainings, 100+ middle and high school WAIT Training assemblies in 47 states throughout the nation every year.
